TRAINING SESSION
Prospects and Opportunities of Participation in FP7 Projects for Ukrainian Scientists

The training was organized by the Ukrainian team of the SUCCESS Project – ISMA and TBI Kharkov Technologies and was adjusted to the International conference “Nuclear Medicine. Physics, Engineering and Practice”- NucMed.
The training was devoted to raising awareness of Ukrainian scientists in FP7 opportunities and rules of participation in the FP7 international cooperation projects. One of the most important parts of the training was information about forthcoming FP7 calls on the Theme 4 according to FP7 classification “Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and New Production Technologies” - NMP.
Participants: ISMA scientists and participants of the NucMed workshop. Training was attended by 27 participants.
The training session covered three main subjects:
- Introduction of FP7 EC on research and technology development. Program COOPERATION: rules of participation and opportunities for Ukraine
- Work Program 2011-2012 on Nanosciences, nanotechnologies, materials and new production technologies (Theme 4. NMP)
- Open calls on Nanosciences, nanotechnologies, materials and new production technologies. Special instrument for Ukrainian participation in FP7 on NMP - SICA
The training session ended with the presentations and discussion of the research ideas by ISMA scientists.
